As a family we spend a lot of time outside at our local country park or using our National Trust membership. This means that we all need good waterproof, warm footwear to keep us warm and dry. We recently had the chance to review some lovely kids wellies and I jumped at the chance as I knew they would fit right in with our lifestyle.
Term Wellies was started 6 years ago by a husband and wife who imported children’s footwear into the UK. They wanted to bring the quality of these shoes to the UK market and it is now well on its way to becoming one of the most trusted school shoe brands.
|The wellies are made from products which conform to EU standards and look fantastic. With the bright colours for both boys and girls there is a wellie to suit anyone. As many of us know wellies are so cold, so with these Term Wellies they have a removable roll top sock which can be taken out to be washed. It keeps the children’s feet warm and a lot nicer than just wearing a cold plastic wellie.
All styles come with a reflective strip on the back which is always handy is you are out using these in those cold dark winter months.
These Wellies will cost you £21.99 which I know is a bit more expensive than shop bought ones, however they are worth every penny. Little man told me how comfy and warm his feet were when he was wearing these which is great. They are fantastic quality with big thick soles and I know they are going to last a few seasons. Come spring/summer we can simply remove the roll top sock which will also then make the boot one EU size larger. This is perfect for growing feet and in the summer months it will keep the feet cooler.
