The Jelly That Wouldn’t Wobble Book Review.

Little man and myself have recently been sent The Jelly That Wouldn’t Wobble to review. We were very kindly sent this book by Izziwizz kids.

front book

The story is about a jelly that is given to a Princess for her 89th Birthday Party. The only problem is the Jelly will not wobble as it does not want to be eaten. Lots of different people at the party try lots of different way to get it to wobble. Do they get it to wobble though? Yes the jelly eventually wobbles and is eaten.

My little man loves me reading to him. It is the only time he will sit still. We read through the book together and I thought it was a really lovely good quality book. Each page is filled with really colourful illustrations which keeps younger children more interested. The print in the book is really easy to read. The writing isn’t fancy so children can’t read it, it is nice and plain and easy to read. Throughout the book some of the words are larger than others, this is to show where someone is shouting or something is louder.

All in all little man really liked me reading this book to him. I think it is very important to read as little man is learning new words everyday.

This book is great for children of all ages. From having it read to them, to reading it themselves. I would give this book 5/5 as I really can not fault it.

  1. Lovely review. My kids are all little book worms, this is definitely one to add to their ever growing collection.
