Our latest game to review from Drumond Park is Crazy Claw. I knew all about this game before it arrived as Little Man had seen so many Youtube videos on this game. He had been going on and on about it so I knew he would be over the moon when we had the chance to review it.
So what is the game… The aim of the game is to grab the balls, open them up and see if the pictures inside the ball matches one of the 3 pictures on your playing board (which each player chose before the game starts). If the picture inside matches then you take it our and put it on your card placing the ball back inside. If the pictures doesn’t match then you need to put the disc back inside the ball and pop the ball back inside the tank.
The game does have to be built up and if when you have finished playing with the game you want to put it back in the box, you will need to dismantle it to put it away. It was a little bit fiddly to put up the first time but as we have had it out so many times since I have decided to leave it now built up. The game requires no batteries which is a massive hit. I feel like we are forever swapping batteries in toys and games, so the fact this needs non is a massive bonus.
Whats in the box…
The game is for 2 – 4 players however Little Man has played the game on his own when I have been busy.
There are 3 of each coloured ball inside the tank and you are thinking that this sounds too easy? Well whilst each person is taking their game the other player are pressing the levers on the outside to make the balls jump around inside the tank. So it actually isn’t as easy as you think.
We decided to make a video of the game because it is a lot of fun and it is quite hard to get that across in words. The game usually ends up with us all shouting and getting very loud. This game is a massive hit in our house and I have to say it is one of Little Man’s favourites. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a present for a child.
The game retails for around £22.99 and is WELL worth the money. We have had so much use out of this game already and I know it will continue to be used for a very long time. You can check out our Youtube video here of us setting up and playing the game.
