Birthday Boy (age 5) and Birthday party

Well last weekend saw our eldest Little Man turn 5. I really can’t believe that he has been with us for 5 years now and what an amazing 5 years it has been, the best 5 years of my life actually.

On the Friday night we had some of Doug’s family come over to stay with us for the weekend. Little Man went to bed and I decorated the living room. I knew he would be so excited in the morning coming down to see all the balloons, banners and presents.

He was so excited in the morning and was awake nice and early.

The whole day was amazing. It was one of the hottest days of the year and both of the kids were out in the swimming pool by 0900 on Saturday morning. Little man had a really cool new pool for his birthday and he just couldn’t wait to get in it. He was a very lucky boy and had a lot of other presents.

The day was so hot, we spent the day in the garden. The Sunday was exactly the same and both kids were outside all day again. Little Man and Bubs both love being outside so we really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend for our Little boy’s birthday. We told Little Man he could go out or order in what ever he wanted for dinner on his birthday night…. He chose Pizza!

The following weekend (this weekend just gone 14th May) Little Man had a party with 30 of his school friends at our house. We hired the Play Bus which is a double-decker bus full of soft play, slides and ball ponds. We also hired a bouncy with a slide which the kids absolutely loved. It was a crazy 2 hours whilst all the kids were here but they all had so much fun and loved the party. The play bus gives each child some candy floss but Little Man had an extra-large one as he was birthday boy.

Happy Birthday Little Man have a fantastic year being 5.

I LOVE birthday posts…. Happy 5th little man..although not so little, school this year? My babies are born September-March so we never have the opportunities for summer gifts, I bet that pool was amazing.
You made it look so exciting for him to come down to,

The poo dog????? Ha ha ha ha

I’ve never heard of a play bus (except the fabulous 90s kids tv one) sounds like a brilliant idea for a party and, candy floss rocks! Especially if you’re the birthday boy so you get extra.

Wow some party. And you’re making me hungry with that pizza now. I love the way there was an entertainment bus. I think I need to start planning my soon 4 year old boys party.
