Monday 4th February 2013. Growing out of afternoon sleeps.

When little man goes for a sleep in the afternoon, this is my time to get on with the housework, cleaning, ironing, washing etc. Whilst he is up and awake I like to play with him, paint, bake, go for walks, and generally do things with him that he wants to do. This however all changed in November 2012. One particular day Little man decided he didn’t want to have a sleep in the day. Generally he wakes up between 0730 and 0800 so not  too early. Come midday he has his dinner and then goes for a sleep,… View Post

Sponsorship Plea for BritMums Live 2013

BritMums Live is the UK’s biggest, two-day social media conference and blogger event,  parent blogger lifestyle and social influencers all meet to socialise, network with brands, and meet each other. I started my blog in September 2012. The reason I started my blog was to keep a sort of Diary for my little man, for when he is older. He can look back at the blog and see pictures and details of what and when we were doing things. I quickly got into doing reviews as well, I have had the opportunity to work with some great brands. I am… View Post

On Friday I posted a really short and quick post about our trip to Edinburgh. The other half an I had been looking forward to this for so long, now its over. I had my IPad and the other half had his Kindle. After about 20 minutes the lady came round and served us breakfast, which was sausage, bacon, tomatoes,… View Post

Tuesday 22nd January 2013. Fun in the snow.

Today we have been playing out in the snow, just little man and myself. Unfortunately the other half had to go to work, he was able to get in so had to go. Would of been lovely if we could of all gone out in the snow. Little man and my self had a great time though. We got the sleigh out but as little man is only 20 months old, when I pulled it he lost his balance and fell back. So after thinking what to do, I came up with a great idea. I put some string around… View Post

Monday 21st January 2013. Choosing the right car for your family

As families grow, their needs change – especially when it comes to finding the right car to carry children, pets and equipment in safety and comfort. The appeal of a high-performance, low-slung model soon fades when faced with the reality of transporting pushchairs and bulky child-related equipment. Practicality becomes the prime consideration, taking into account the needs of each member of the family. With so many models available, it can be difficult to choose the right car for your family. Here are a few things to bear in mind when you’re making this important decision: Safety Most families would agree… View Post

Monday 21st January 2013. Meal Planning

For a few months now on a Sunday, my partner and I plan our meals for the week. We decided what we are going to have each night and stick to it. The last couple of weeks we have forgotten to do it, and the week was a disaster. We ended up having fish and chips and a takeaway. We got in at 1800 after picking little man up from nursery, we were so tired had nothing to really eat in the fridge, and then got a takeaway. So we are back to meal planning, and we managed to remember… View Post
