Bubs 9 month Update

Bubs is 9 now months, 15th June 2015! He has now been here for the same amount of time he was growing in my tummy and it’s totally bonkers. I can’t quite get my head around the fact that he is 9 months, even saying it doesn’t seem real. I don’t want it to be real, I want him to stay a small baby for a bit longer yet as I am in no way ready for him to be growing this fast.

He is doing really well with everything and learning new things all the time. Little Man is currently trying to teach  him to crawl. Bubs however is lazy though and has no interest at the moment in moving about. He can sit in one place all day and get all he wants brought to him or given to him so he has no need to move around. I am quite enjoying the time we have at the moment. As it is I have no worries about him picking small toys off the floor and trying to eat them, or falling over and bumping his head or really watching his every move and having eyes in the back of my head again.

I have not had him weighed lately so unsure of his weight. He is still in 6-9 month clothing though. The 6-9 is still fitting him well so we have no need to move up a size just yet.

He is still doing great with his Congenital hypothyroidism and we have another blood test on the 24th June. I will write and update on that after we get the blood results.

Over the last couple of days Bubs responds to the word Mama. If I say Mama he puts his head on me as if giving me a cuddle and its so cute. If I am holding him and say Dada he won’t don’t it so I know this isn’t just coincidence, He will however cuddle his Daddy he is holding him and says Dada. It’s really amazing that he recognises this. Cant wait for him to start saying Mama and Dada.

He still has his dummy in A LOT!! I am going to start trying to wean this off him in the day soon. I will let him have it for naps and sleep time. I am worried it may hinder his speech though and he isn’t to bothered about it in the day if I keep him occupied. Will update and let you all know how that goes.

So that’s all for this update today. See you back for the 10 month update!!
